if there's one thing for sure,
i never pretend to be someone i'm not.
to a certain extent of course.
(pretending to be a goody two shoes in interviews and whatnots)
not that i have any need to do as such.
people where masks wherever they go;
and the only time they let their guards down is in the comfort of their own home.
so tell me why do we have to be pretentious?
to let others think highly of ourselves?
to portray a certain image of ourselves?
although it's not wrong;
it's not the right thing either to be under false pretense.
being anti-social or even not wearing a smile throughout the day is just who i am
though i never say i couldn't change
i never force myself to, just so that i can appeal to people.
at the end of the day,
i want to be accepted as who i really am,
be it good or bad.
even if it means limiting my social circle.
because thats what really matters.
staying true to myself.
you might agree/disagree with my views,
but that's for you to judge on your own.
